sorry this took so long, but this should be everything you need!

Roller, Belt and Deck Replacement for a CST 4.6

 

Tools Needed:

T wrench provided with unit

6mm Allen Wrench

5mm Allen Wrench

13” Socket or open wrench

Phillips Head Screw

 

  1. Turn off power and unplug unit.
  2. Unscrew 2 screws on each side of motor cover (2 on right, 2 on left) and remove motor cover.  Set cover and screws aside in a safe place.
  3. Unscrew 1 screw on each endcap and remove endcap. Set endcaps and screws aside in a safe place.
  4. Pull side footrails straight down to remove from unit.
  5. With tape mark the placement of the back tension bolts.
  6. Using the T wrench, turn the bolts to the left to remove from unit.
  7. pull rear roller out from under belt and set aside

End Rear Roller

  1. Mark placement of front roller on bolt using tape

 

  1. Loosen the front roller bolt on the right side of roller by holding the nut in place with the 13” socket or open wrench, and turning the bolt to the left with a 6mm allen wrench. Remove bolt and nut and set aside.
  2. unscrew 2 screws holding on analog sensor ( on the left hand side of the frame of the unit, right by the front roller.) and unplug sensor from motor control board. Set sensor and screws aside
  3. Remove drive belt from front roller and pull front roller out from the right side.

End Front Roller

  1. Loosen and detach the 4 bolts on the right side holding running deck to the frame of the treadmill using the 5mm allen wrench. *note: the last bolt on the bottom of the deck has a nut holding on the bolt. You will have to use a 13” wrench to hold it in place while you loosen the bolt.
  2. Lift the running deck and slide the running belt off of the right hand side of the deck.

End Belt Removal

  1. Loosen and detach the 4 bolts on the left side holding the running deck to the frame of the treadmill using the 5mm allen wrench. Hold down frame of unit and lift off running deck.

Caution with the weight of the running deck removed, the frame of the unit may pop up. Make sure you are holding the frame down when you remove the deck.

                  End deck Removal

 

  1. Set new deck on frame and bolt down left side of deck.
  2. Mark place of bolt on motor bracket using screwdriver then loosen top bolt and horizontal bolts on motor bracket until drive belt is loose.
  3.  Slide front roller into place and put drive belt on front roller.
  4. Tighten bolts on motor bracket back down to where marks are making sure drive belt stays in place on roller and flywheel.
  5. Set rear roller into place and insert bolt on left side.
  6. Holding deck up, slide belt onto deck, insert front roller then rear roller under then belt. Reach through belt to grab a hold of deck, then slide belt into place.
  7. Attach rest of bolts that hold deck to frame. You may need to pull the frame to get the holes lined up.
  8. Attach front roller to frame by bolt on the right side, lining the roller up with the mark of where the roller was before.
  9. Reinsert and connect right rear roller bolt but leave loose.
  10. Spread 2 bottle of silicone on deck focusing on the center of the deck.
  11. Tighten back bolts to the tape markings.
  12. Attach speed sensor by front roller by screwing 2 screws in and reattaching cable to motor control board.
  13. Run unit for 15 minutes to help soak up lube, and align belt if needed.
